The Havens are London’s Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) based at Camberwell, Whitechapel and St Charles Hospital near Ladbroke Grove. We provide the full range of SARC and related services, from forensic medical examinations, medical aftercare, and in-house Independent sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) team, a psychology and counselling service as well as a dedicated children and young person’s service.

The ISVA team has expanded in recent years to 11 full-time staff and we have restructured the leadership resulting in the creation of this new post of Lead ISVA. The post holder will clinically and operationally lead the ISVA team, directly reporting to the SARC Service Manager and assisted by a Senior ISVA. The Lead ISVA will be a member of the Haven senior leadership team and will be the lead for the service on all ISVA and related matters across the wider London sexual violence and VAWG sectors.

Candidates should have extensive ISVA experience and credibility, plus leadership experience and skills and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to partnership working and delivery in influencing change.
