Princess Royal University Hospital part of Kings College University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit dynamic and enthusiastic Radiologists to join our team based at the Princess Royal University Hospital. Applications from candidates with interests in Breast imaging, GI and head & neck are particularly welcome and also from candidates who wish to work part time.

The PRUH is a level 2 trauma centre working within the KCH trauma network.

The radiology department is modern with excellent equipment. This includes nuclear medicine with SPECT-CT, MRI, CT (2 MDCT scanners), Fluroscopy, Angiography, mammography, ultrasound and plain film. The department was purpose built as part of the PRUH PFI and is sited adjacent to the ED. The Department has a Managed Equipment Service contract which ensures equipment is regularly maintained and replaced with state of the art equipment.

A teleradiography service provides on call for out of hours CT.

The Radiology Service is Consultant delivered with an emphasis on improving the Acute Care Radiology Pathway delivery since KCH took over the PRUH sites. To that end, this service has been reorganised, incorporating evolving changes in Consultant Job Plans, Departmental and Clinical pathways.

Bromley has an increasingly diverse and affluent population. The area benefits from excellent local schools (including state grammar and independent options) and has quick and easy access to both Central London and the Kent countryside.

The successful applicants will be part of a busy Radiology Department, and will be required to work as part of the team, including providing cover for annual leave and study leave. You will be expected to participate in fixed and flexible commitments and become involved in audit and research.
