We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic working Maintenance Tradesperson to be based at our Orpington Hospital site but will be required to work at a number of satellite sites.

Knowledge of TMVs testing and carrying out repairs to failed units. Repair and replacement of taps and associated fittings.

It is desirable that you have a good range of maintenance experience including knowledge of Legionella control & prevention. You should be physically fit and active with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. A full driving license is essential.

The successful applicant will work within the engineering team ensuring the effective maintenance and operation of all buildings, plant and associated services in an efficient, economical and safe manner in accordance with all statutory, NHS Trust and departmental guidelines.

The role will involve routine maintenance, installation and repair work on a wide range of mechanical and electrical engineering systems. The successful candidate will be required to participate in an emergency on-call rota.
