An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the team as a band 7 Paediatric Allergy and Respiratory Specialist Nurse. The post holder will work as an integral member of the Paediatric Respiratory and Allergy team. They will form part of the team to deliver quality services particularly pertaining to the best practice tariff.
You should have excellent inter-personal and communication skills and previous experience of nursing children and young people with respiratory and allergy conditions. You should be committed to the delivery of a high standard of care, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
We would welcome applicants who have experience of working as a Respiratory or Allergy Nurse Specialist in a senior role who will be able to lead the Paediatric Nursing team. Applicants should have experience of allergy testing, food challenges and inhaler techniques. The successful candidate will be confident making management decisions and advising patients and families on all aspects of respiratory and allergy care.
The successful applicant would work closely with the existing team of Paediatric nurses and consultants who will provide support, training and mentorship.
