Medical Secretary – Haematology

An opportunity has arisen to join the Haematology Team at Kings College Hospital based at Princess Royal University Hospital.

We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to work with a team of Consultants. The role includes secretarial duties and support to patients and the wider unit.

You will possess excellent organisational skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, in addition to being a committed team player to a multi-disciplinary team.

You must be able to deal with confidential issues in a professional manner and be able to work under pressure.

You need to have previous experience as a medical secretary and have worked within general practice, NHS or private hospitals

This is a full-time permanent position, which will suit a dynamic and motivated individual, preferably with experience in working with hospital administrative systems and communicating with patients.  It is an excellent opportunity to develop your role within hospital administration.
