Want to work in the exciting field of Emergency Medicine?
We are looking for doctors with at least 4 years postgraduate experience to work as Specialty Doctors (Registrar level) in Emergency Medicine.
The post will be based at the ED of the Princess Royal University Hospital (BR6 8ND) which is a designated Trauma Unit and Hyper-acute Stroke Centre.
Successful candidates will join a dynamic emergency workforce treating a wide spectrum of emergency medicine presentations. This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience while working in a friendly and supportive environment.
The ED consultant team provides clinical supervision and care delivery 16 hours per day,7 days a week. They also have varied special interests including trauma, frailty, disaster medicine, education, public health, global health and pre-hospital care.
There is a strong training culture incorporating lecture-room teaching and clinical supervision, opportunities to attend relevant clinics and courses, and full immersion simulation sessions.
Candidates interested in pursuing a CESR will be fully supported including access to relevant secondments such as Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Paediatrics.
The post is for full time working at 11PA (including night shifts and weekend duties). There is the option of working up to 12PA.
We also welcome applications to work less than full time.
Locum and fixed term posts are also available at the same level.

Salary is based on the Specialty Doctor payscale – MC46.
Interview dates can be flexible. Whilst face to face interviews are preferred, alternative methods are also acceptable such as Skype.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
