Staff Nurse - Discharge Lounge

Are you an experienced, flexible, Registered Adult Nurse looking to develop in-patient discharge lounge services at the Princess Royal University Hospital, part of King’s college NHS foundation trust?

We are looking for motivated, proactive individuals to facilitate outstanding patient care and patient experience at the end of the patient’s stay in hospital.

This is a demanding post that requires a positive approach towards change and the ability to engage as part of a team.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be passionate about supporting safe, robust, timely discharge support to all patient, ward staff and clinical areas.

We will require applicants to have the following:

  • RGN registration
  • Be motivated and enthusiastic in developing discharge lounge services
  • Excellent standards of care and a positive attitude to flexible working
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a wide range of disciplines
  • Willing to learn through continual professional development and clinical skills
  • Promote change through evidence based practice
