In July 2014 Critical Care launched a new outreach team ‘iMobile’ at the Princess Royal University Hospital which operates 24/7 with a team of critical care nurses.

The iMobile team provides the following service to patients on the wards:

  1. Rapid response, stabilisation and transfer to ICU
  2. ICU step down care

  4. Mobile critical care therapy for patients on the wards requiring ‘optimisation’ and ‘trial of treatment’ or the facilitation of ‘safe discharge‘

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and busy service. In 2017 the team saw over 4000 patients.
