Working in partnership with our service partners, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital, Bedford NHS Hospital Trusts, and Princess Royal University Hospital we aim to set the standard for the future of pathology.
A vacancy have arisen to join an innovative and exciting CPA (ISO) accredited Cellular Pathology Department, within Viapath Pathology which serves two of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts (Guys and St. Thomas'/King's College Hospital) in the UK.
The department offers a comprehensive range of services to regional and national referring clinicians. Suitable applicants are invited from administrative and NHS environment.
The department is based at St Thomas' Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with good interpersonal skills to work together with a highly competent and friendly team.
The candidates will have knowledge of medical terminology, along with fast keyboard skills. Excellent organisational and communication skills are also required and three years previous administrative experience. The post holder will work alongside senior medical secretaries and the office management.
This post will be a permanent contract.
The applicants will be aware of basic Health and Safety in a hospital environment, and have a good understanding of Patient Confidentiality.
