An exciting 12 month opportunity has arisen for a highly organised, motivated and proactive individual to cover the Primary Care Liaison Manager post, where you will support the liaison between the Trust and our local GPs/practice staff.

This role requires the successful candidate to be the first port of call for any Primary care related queries, including quality issues raised by GPs through the Trust Quality Alert system. The post holder will manage GP communications, organise large scale education events and input to any Trust projects that affect Primary Care as required.

Experience of working with GPs and other Primary Care services would be highly desirable. The ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including Commissioners, GPs, community providers and local authority partners is vital.

The Primary Care Liaison Manager also works closely with specialty leads across the Trust to resolve any issues highlighted by Primary Care, so understanding how to manage change in a large organisation is important.

There may be occasions where flexibility is required for meetings outside of core times i.e – evening GP Education events.

The post holder will be primarily based at the Denmark Hill site, but will be expected to work cross-site as necessary to attend meetings or hold GP events. The post is 37.5 a week working Monday to Friday core hours but some flexibility will be required to be able to attend evening educational events organised for primary care.
