An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised, motivated and proactive individual to join King’s College Hospital as the Service Manager for Therapy Services, part of Therapy, Rehab & Integrated Clinical Services Care Group.

The successful postholder will provide operational service management across the care group and will lead the strategic planning and development of inpatient and outpatient services, undertaking a key role within the Trust and with external partners in sustaining, supporting and developing both Adult and Paediatric Therapy services.

The service manager will be a key member of the therapy management team. The postholer will be an experienced manager and will have a high degree of autonomy at an operational level, leading on day to day performance management and operational delivery of business and strategic plans, working closely with the Chief of Therapy, General Manager, Clinical Leads, multi-disciplinary teams and central Trust departments such as Finance, Business Intelligence and Human Resources

The post holder will be primarily based at King’s Denmark Hill site, but expected to work cross-site as necessary to attend operational meetings

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
