Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) - Adults, The Havens. Band 6. 0.6 FTE. (12 month fixed-term contract) 22.5 hours. 

The Havens are London's Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) based at Camberwell, Paddington and Whitechapel. We provide client-led, trauma-informed services which are delivered in partnership with police and third sector services.  Our services include acute healthcare and support in age-appropriate settings; police and self-referred forensic medical examinations; follow-up services which address the client’s health, psychosocial and ongoing needs, as well as direct and ongoing access to an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA). We are looking for an ISVA/advocate to cover for 12 months at our North London unit.
This specialist advocate role will deliver dedicated case management for clients aged over 20 years old. The post holder will provide direct follow-up support to clients and manage referrals ensuring that vulnerable adults are safeguarded and have access to appropriate services. They will also support clients to access and participate in the criminal justice process as able.
If required, the post holder may need to be able to have flexible working hours.
Interviews will be held on Monday 28 January 2019 at Haven Camberwell. Selected candidates will be invited for a further interview on 30 January 2019 at Haven Camberwell.
