The Havens are London’s Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) based in Camberwell, Paddington and Whitechapel. We support victims of sexual assault in the immediate aftermath of rape, from forensic evidence and medico-legal work through sexual health, counselling, psychology, advocacy and other specialist support.

We have a strong partnership with the Metropolitan Police Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command but also provide our full range of support to victims of sexual assault whether they want police involvement or not.

The post holder is responsible for effective day to day administrative support at one Haven site including supervision of reception and data entry staff and ensuring that there is adequate reception cover during core opening hours. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all other staff at the Haven, including clinical staff, in respect of any administrative issues including ordering, security, estates, health and safety and ICT. The post holder will ensure that the Haven complies with the service-wide administrative systems and standards including database and associated systems oversight.

Additionally the post-holder will provide limited PA support to the Service Manager and Clinical Director particularly diary management and meeting arrangements.

Occasionally the post holder may be required to support administration needs and reception at either of the other Haven sites.
