King's Kidney Care provides high quality holistic care to people with kidney disease across a diverse population, estimated at 1.2m and wide geographical area in South-East London and in areas of Kent, Woolwich/ Greenwich, Bromley and Sydenham.  The multi-disciplinary team of over 300 people is based at Denmark Hill, Princess Royal University Hospital and units in Bromley, Darent Valley, Dulwich, Sydenham, Thamesmead and Woolwich.

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has an enviable track record in clinical service provision, research and development and service innovation.

We are looking for a colleague to join a dynamic team of 14 Consultant Nephrologists. The post offers the opportunity to take a clinical lead on home therapies, alongside provision of satellite haemodialysis, general nephrology care and on-call commitments.

The successful candidate will have a CCST in nephrology (or be within 3 months of their completion date).

The post is initially advertised as 7 PAs though it is very likely that this could be increased to 10 PAs within 6 months if desirable.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
