Property Manager

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals. The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in Liver Disease and Transplantation, Neurosciences, Haemato-oncology, Fetal Medicine, Cardiac, Stroke and major Trauma and Emergency Medicine. On 1 October 2013, King’s took over the management of the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley and Orpington Hospital, as well as some services at Beckenham Beacon and Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup. The new enlarged organisation has over 10,500 staff and provides over 1 million patient contacts a year. 9,000 babies are delivered by our hospitals each year, and over 750 patients come to our Emergency Departments every day. The hospitals offer a full portfolio of services that serve the needs of the local community, as well as tertiary specialist services listed above.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional professionally qualified Property Portfolio Manager to our Property Team. The successful candidate will be dynamic with a ‘can do’ attitude and proven track record of managing Property portfolios in either private or public sectors. As Property Manager, you will need to have as a minimum a first degree in a property management related subject or be a member of a recognized professional property group. Also you will need to be diplomatic, with a proven ability to persuade and influence at all levels, you will have excellent communication and presentation skills and be comfortable working as part of a small management team.
