We are looking for an innovative and insightful individual to develop, embed and drive improvements in the patient safety agenda. The post holder will report to the Deputy Chief Nurse, applications are welcomed from driven and motivated individuals who are able to demonstrate significant experience of managing patient safety at a senior level in large, complex healthcare organisations.

The role of Assistant Director of Patient Safety is to provide strong, professional and empowering leadership to the whole workforce across the Trust and the post holder will be responsible for integrating, coordinating and assuring the systems and processes in place for quality of care and nurse leadership at King’s.

The Assistant Director of Patient Safety will provide leadership, direction and effective management to directly managed staff and other identified team members within the agreed scope of responsibility, and provide pertinent up-to-date professional advice and expert knowledge to the Deputy Chief Nurse and senior management teams to support the successful delivery of corporate, professional, operational and clinical objectives.
