We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to contribute to the development and implementation of the Trust’s strategy, performance metrics, key objectives and efficient use of resources, and who will be responsible for the operational delivery of patient experience.

The post holder is a key member of the Executive Nursing team and is professionally accountable to the Deputy Chief Nurse. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of the Patient Experience Strategy ensuring that the views of patients, carers, members of the public, staff and external stakeholders inform future service delivery.

The role of the Assistant Director of Patient Experience is to provide strong, professional and empowering leadership to the whole workforce across the Trust. The post holder is responsible for strategic and operational management of:
• Patient, Visitor and Carer Experiences
• Public Involvement
• Complaints and PALs Services
• Voluntary Services
• Chaplaincy Services

The post holder will hold delegated responsibility for the listed areas of practice and will be expected to participate in system wide patient experience initiatives.
