This is a new role within King College London (Kings), to lead the expansion and implementation of the nursing associate role within the organisation.

Kings has been engaged in the nursing associate agenda from the outset, the organisation is a member of the South East London and Kent, a second wave test site. Currently we have eighteen Trainee Nursing Associates employed across three of the Kings hospital sites. Going forward the Nursing Associate role is seen as a key feature in our organisation workforce.

Kings is planning for an additional two cohorts, both with circa 25 Trainee Nursing Associates per cohort in this academic year. This role will lead on the recruitment selection and implementation of the Nursing Associate workforce within the organisation. The role will be central on the work force planning need to successfully introduce this new role to the existing workforce.

You will work with nursing leaders across the organisation, leads from our partner organisation, Higher educational institutions and Health education England

This is a diverse, interesting and challenging role for someone who is passionate about the nursing workforce and having the right people with the right skills to delivery first class patient care.

Location: Denmark Hill, South East London, with travel to the other King’s sites as required.
