As a newly qualified nurse, we offer a structured training and support programme, the Preceptorship Programme offered at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is an excellent opportunity to begin your nursing career in a hospital with a reputation of excellence for patient care, and as a renowned Clinical Research and Trauma Centre.
The aim of the preceptorship programme is to enable you to gain experience in order to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to practice autonomously as a confident and competent practitioner within King’s. You will be given a named preceptor to support you through the programme and a dedicated facilitator who oversees the programme to ensure you receive continuous support and learning opportunities.
Within the supporting statement please indicate three preferences to help us identify the specialty or department you would like to work. Although we will endeavour to place you within these areas, allocations will be confirmed where vacancies are available so cannot be guaranteed within one of your preferred areas.
