Our critical care service at King’s (Denmark Hill site), comprises of 65 beds, which are spread across three multi-specialty units and Liver ICU. We provide specialist care for critically ill medical and surgical patients. This includes liver, neurosurgery, neurology, trauma, orthopaedics, general surgery, cardiothoracic, cardiology, renal and haematology. A new purpose built 60+ bedded unit is due to open in 2018. We are keen to hear from passionate, enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 ICU experienced registered nurses who want to make the move to a busy, dynamic and supportive critical care environment.
Our practice development team delivers an excellent supernumerary orientation and induction programme for all new starters, and all candidates will participate in our well established critical care developmental pathway programme. All pathways will be tailored to your current level and targeted towards to your career aspirations. We are also proud to be able to offer critical care modules, courses and further qualifications at King’s College London.
