This is a Consultant post in Neuroradiology, with an interest in neurovascular intervention.  


The remit of the postholder will be to work within the multi–disciplinary team providing and further developing care for patients presenting to Neuroradiology and to provide and develop neurointerventional and diagnostic services.  The individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the department while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff.


The post is based at King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill site, with support to the Princess Royal University Hospital site.   There are currently 16 Neuroradiologists, including 4 interventional consultants, who deliver this specialty service across the KHP sites.

The post will have an on-call commitment to provide a neurointerventional service and the post holder will be expected to contribute to the performance and governance agenda of the division.


The post holder will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate training.
