We have stand alone and rotation posts in Acute, General Medicine and other medical specialities. We are a busy and friendly Teaching Hospital and will help the successful candidates whatever their experience to improve their portfolio, experience and skills. For candidates wishing to try to complete The Alternative Certificate of Core Competence we have experience of helping you do this with balanced, bespoke support.

The successful candidates will join a clinical fellow programme across Gerontology, Acute and General Medicine. We have excellent links with critical care, emergency medicine and all our other specialities on site to develop the right experience for the right training. Maintaining our clinical safety and excellent outcomes are important to us, our doctors work compliant, safe rotas with appropriately staffed teams; we encourage all junior clinical fellows to take part in out-patient clinics, and all posts include procedure training.

Postgraduate education and training are essential components of these posts; while the posts are designed for service the post-holders will have the same support from Educational and Clinical Supervisors, the Department of Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education, with access, support and encouragement for all aspects of your professional portfolio, including access to teaching and training in Departments and across the Trust, MRCP support and Appraisal support; we also have an International Doctors Development Program.
