Working with the Trusts Medical Education department & HEE, the post holder will be working on the following tasks:

  • to provide intensive on-site support, focusing on improving the quality of education and training for doctors in postgraduate training, as well as enhancing the wider clinical learning environment.
  • to demonstrate improvements to the GMC NTS results for south London.

This is an enviable opportunity for a trainee at any level of training. The successful applicant will be an important member of the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Medical Education Department & the HEE South London local office. They will also become part of the South London Fellows network to share best practice and experiences.

You will be passionate about medical education and about improving the quality and safety of patient care. You are someone who wants to develop your interest in education and training & leadership.

Recruitment will be open to all levels of training, with the appointed Fellows expected to spend 2 days working in clinical practice. It is not expected that this post will count towards training.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
