Apprentice Training Co-ordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team within the Learning & Organisation Development Team (L&OD) Unit 4, at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. 

The post-holder will help to co-ordinate and provide administration to the staff in unit 4, in addition they will assist the Induction & Core Skills Coordinator.

Training for the role will be provided on site, and the successful applicant will be required to work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship: 

Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration

Undertake self-directed study, keep records of study time and manage own learning time. Communicate effectively with Apprenticeship Tutor.

Undertake End Point Assessment tasks which could consist of professional discussion, test, project or observation – this will be organised between the Trusts and training provider and is an externally led assessment which determines the successful completion of the apprenticeship. 

Fixed term contract for 24 months

Salary £249.00 per week £12,983 pa. 

We are looking for someone who has a minimum level 1 or equivalent (English & Maths) and has excellent written & verbal communication skills. They must have the ability to communicate across all levels, which would include trust staff, visitors and facilitators. 

The successful candidate will be able to manage their own time, prioritise and be able to cope with ad hoc demands. The L&OD Unit is a busy environment so there is a requirement to be able to concentrate even with frequent interruptions.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
