An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Kings Older Persons' Assessment Unit based at the Denmark Hill Site of King’s College Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated nurse with experience in working with the older person to lead and co-ordinate the nursing and Admin team, taking continuing responsibility for the management and organisation of the Kings Older Persons' Assessment Unit(KOPAU).

King’s is part of King’s Health Partners (KHP) Academic Health Sciences Centre and is one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. You will work collaboratively with clinical and academic colleagues at the Cicely Saunders Institute where this post is based.

We share a vision and strategy with the Palliative Care Service at our Princess Royal University Hospital site.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
