King’s continues to be an exciting, innovative and challenging place to work, as a multiple site hospital with a new Electronic Patient Record System – Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM). The EPR Clinical Analyst Team supports over 6000 users from its main site based at Denmark Hill. The team is currently working on the EPR implementation programme that will enable our clinical staff to have the best electronic tools at their disposal. This is an exciting and challenging project involving designing, configuring, testing, and implementing our EPR solution.
We now seek to recruit an additional experienced Band 5 EPR Support Analyst on a full time contract, to join our team of Clinical Analysts. The successful candidates will support the EPR Clinical Analysts Team with daily business as usual support calls and will have opportunities to develop their own skills.
Applicants should have a good knowledge of EPR system, with well-developed IT skills and understanding of clinical workflow and practices. They should ideally have some NHS experience within a large acute Trust (or be able to demonstrate similar skills).
Applicants must be good team workers, flexible, well-organised, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applicants will also be expected to work across the multiple site, where and when it demands.
For an informal discussion of the role please contact: Petula Guiseppi, ICT (EPR) Lead Clinical Analyst, King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill, London, SE5 9RS. (020-3299-5077).
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
