King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading and most dynamic Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) Centres in the UK with a global standing and a tradition of leading innovations in the field.
Are you ready for a new challenge?
Due to unprecedented growth in service demand, King’s HSCT Centre is expanding its senior clinical nurse specialist team offering a Leukaemia UK supported CNS in Post BMT care. This charity supported role will enable the post-holder to continue to develop the established service while strengthening our third sector partnerships. You will be joining our established multidisciplinary BMT team working alongside BMT Co-ordinators and reporting to the Consultant Nurse in post BMT Care. Experience of post-transplant care is desirable and you are expected to be motivated, innovative, creative and able to lead change. You will be expected to contribute to the development of the team and support your peers, providing formal and informal teaching. You will be given educational opportunities and encouraged to lead audit and participate in national and international meetings.
We run a busy and dynamic, patient centred service, where we value people with a commitment to delivering individualised holistic care alongside research and evaluation.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
