Haematology Cellular Therapy (CAR-T) Clinical Nurse Specialist

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading and most dynamic Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) and Cellular Therapy Centres in the UK with a global standing and a tradition of leading innovations in the field.

Are you ready for a new challenge?

Due to our continued service growth development, Kings College Hospital is investing in its senior clinical nurse specialist team offering a new position of CAR-T CNS.

Applicants should be experienced Haemato-oncology Nurses with capability to effectively deliver an expert nursing service within the field of Cellular Therapies. Extensive relevant post-registration experience and with related post-registration qualifications in Haematology/Transplantation are essential.

You will be joining our established, dynamic team of BMT CNSs, acting as the key worker for this group of patients  from the point of referral, coordinating all preparation activities and providing information and support for the patient and their carers. The key worker role will use your Haematology and BMT expertise to deliver holistic care and support and provide long term follow-up for this group of patients.

This role is incorporated within our multidisciplinary BMT and CAR-T teams.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the team and support your peers, providing formal and informal teaching. We pride ourselves in giving our nurses educational opportunities and encourage our senior nurses to  lead audit and participate in national and international meetings.

We run a busy and dynamic, patient centred service, where we value people with a commitment to delivering individualised holistic care alongside research and evaluation.
