Applicants are invited for the post of Consultant General Paediatrician with interest in Paediatric Allergy at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London. This is a new substantive less than full time post. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and innovative team in delivering a high quality service. The successful applicant will work within the multi–disciplinary team providing and further developing care for Children/Young People from the Child Health services.
There is a commitment to undertake routine job planned work on evenings and weekends as part of the total job planned PAs. There is also an overnight on call commitment.
You must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a Licence to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent to be eligible for interview.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years), therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
