The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its different sites, and specialist services from King’s College Hospital (KCH) site in Camberwell and the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Bromley, Orpington Hospital, and some services at Beckenham Beacon and Queen Mary’s Sidcup.
The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in liver disease and transplantation, neurosciences, cardiac, haemato-oncology, fetal medicine, stroke, major trauma, and Emergency Department.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to take up the post of Director of Infection Control within King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Denmark Hill site.
This post holder will lead a team of experienced Infection Control nurses across multiple sites, working closely with the IPC medical leads and microbiology teams.
This post will directly report to the Chief Nurse.
We are looking for a motivated ambitious individual who will drive our IPC agenda.
Proposed interview date of Thursday 3 September 2020.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
