Unique opportunity for a fixed term (until end March 2020) part-time maternity cover vacancy for a Band 7 dietitian with experience in, and enthusiasm for, delivering exceptional renal nutritional care.  This part time post is for 0.4WTE (15 hours per week) with the potential to increase to 0.65WTE (24 hours per week) pending funding.

Here at King’s in the renal team we run a proactive, dietitian led, nutrition service. You will get your own caseload, manage your own time and get to know your patients.  Working hours and days may be flexible.

You will join us in our relaxed and fun team working in a renal unit recognised for respecting and valuing the wider MDT. We provide a dietetics service to inpatients, and outpatients in PD, nephrology, pre-dialysis, weight management and post-transplant as well as days (and nights) out to our 6 haemodialysis units across South East London and Kent.  We regularly evaluate our practice, know our worth, and often present our results in poster or oral presentations at conferences.

Our large dietetics department expects all staff to be involved in service development project work, audit, and teaching of other healthcare professionals, in line with our mission to provide excellence in clinical care, research and teaching in King’s Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.
