An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our highly skilled team in a fast paced and developing teaching environment.

The post holder will be responsible for clinical care of patients and education of student dental therapist/hygienists within the School of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. This involves teaching academic (dependent on experience) and clinical skills to enable successful students to gain professional registration with the General Dental Council.

The position requires a General Dental Council registered DHT with a minimum two years clinical experience. The post covers the student therapist/hygienists’ clinical activity on clinics across all campuses of King’s Dental Institute and outreach placements, including Norwood Academy.

This is a fixed-term one year position which offers the opportunity of a 1 day per week post.

Applicants must be qualified for a minimum of two years and preferably have a teaching qualification. Applicants must have evidence of exceptional interpersonal skills, patient management, organisational skills as well as pastoral support.
