An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, caring and enthusiastic nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ experience at band 6 as an adult nurse, or a mental health nurse to join our dedicated Dementia and Delirium (DAD) Team. The post holder will have previous hands on experience of caring for patients with dementia and/ or delirium and supporting their carers. You will also feel confident delivering DAD related training. The post holder will also have a sound working knowledge of and experience in using objective cognitive assessments either in an inpatient or outpatient setting (such as Memory Clinic).
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
