The NIHR Wellcome funded Clinical Research Facility (CRF) on the Denmark
Hill Campus of King’s College Hospital seeks to appoint a research nurse for its purpose built CRF. This exciting post reflects NHS and academic research collaborations between King’s College London, King’s College Hospital, the Institute of Psychiatry and the South London and Maudsley Hospitals NHS Trust which come together under the Academic Health Sciences Centre (King’s Health Partners); a centre of academic excellence. The appointees will be working under the direction of the Director and Manager of the CRF but with day-to-day direct responsibility for the CRF, its staff, facilities and activity, at the interface of these organisations.
The successful candidates will be a registered nurse and show evidence of further education including post-graduate certification / diploma / Continuous Professional Development in clinical research. They will have a minimum of 1 years experience undertaking, co-ordinating or managing clinical research in an academic or commercial setting preferably involving early Phase I and II clinical trials. The post holder will have excellent clinical skills and have an interest in haematology, chemotherapy and/or Mental Health nursing.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
