The Department of Clinical Perfusion Science is a very active department within the trust supplying a wide variety of perfusion services to many specialties including Cardiac Surgery, Liver Transplantation, Trauma, Vascular Surgery and Intensive care. We also have an active research and education program. The department of Clinical perfusion Science now offers an attractive working rota which consists of a seven day fortnight (3 day week followed by a 4 day week).
We currently have vacancies for Senior Clinical Perfusion Scientists to join our current well established team. Candidate should be able to integrate into existing team offering enhancements to the ongoing departmental goals, team dynamics and cohesion.
You should have experience in clinical perfusion techniques including, Blood Salvaging, Intra Aortic Balloon Assist, Auto transfusion, Rapid Infusion, Thrombo Elastography, Veno-Veno Bypass, ECMO, Ventricular Assist and other Assist Devices
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised Senior Clinical Perfusion Scientist with a keen interest in teaching and research. You must posses the Accreditation Certificate of the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain & Ireland and should be a Licentiate Members of the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain & Ireland. You will be expected to participate in an on-call rota consisting of a resident and non-resident element. Informal visits are welcome and encouraged.
