King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Junior Clinical Fellow in Cardiology

Post commences 4th April 2018 to 1st August 2018

The post would be suitable for any trainee who has successfully completed a 2-year Foundation School programme or has achieved equivalent competencies. Previous relevant medical experience would be desirable but not essential. The post comprises care of cardiology patients in a busy tertiary centre with general ward duties and participation in the seven person full shift rota with out of hours commitments.

For appropriately qualified individuals there will be the opportunity to gain additional practical cardiology experience. We consider good postgraduate education and training with appropriate educational supervision to be essential components of these posts. Within the Trust there is a comprehensive postgraduate teaching programme with protected MRCP teaching time and access to the excellent medical school library facilities (Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine).
