We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual to manage our 8 bedded Coronary Care Unit at King's College Hospital. Our unit provides highly specialist care to patients suffering from a range of acute cardiac conditions including Heart Attack and Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest, Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Unstable Angina.
The Coronary Care Unit and Cardiology Ward work closely with the Cardiac Catheter Labs where over 6000 procedures are carried out every year, some of which require admission to our specialist wards.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills at interview and must be able to drive improvement through rigorous audit, continuous staff development and evidence based improvement strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Some weekend working is required.
