Help Desk Receptionist

Denmark Hill Site. 

Full Time 37.5. hours/week worked on a 6 week rolling rota Monday-Sunday with the following shifts

Shift 1 08.00- 16.30

Shift 2 09.30 – 18.00

Shift 3 10.30 -19.00

(Bank Holiday and weekends included) 

The Help Desk Service requires an enthusiastic, motivated, effective communicator with high professional standards in customer care. The Help Desk Service is an important front of house service for the Trust serving patients, staff and the general public at two Help Desks sited at key entrance areas. 

The service offers help in locating inpatients, answering enquiries, signposting visitors to hospital locations and providing a friendly responsive service, meeting the needs of users in a professional and courteous manner. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to work within a busy and sometimes demanding environment using initiative to problem solve.  Previous reception experience and possession of ECDL or proven computer skills are essential requirements. Equally essential is the commitment to the rota shift work that this post requires.

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
