Staff Nurse - Elizabeth/Churchill wards Orpington

Are you passionate about providing excellent nursing care?
Do you want to be part of a dynamic and dedicated specialist team?
Would you like to work in a brand new integrated care facility looking after older people?
Our pioneering new facility will provide a first class service for patients by working in partnership with community and social care colleagues to help reduce unnecessary hospital admissions and help older people to remain independent. It will also ensure a seamless transfer of care for patients leaving hospital, with the help of on-site therapists and discharge coordinators.

This is a very exciting time to join us and become part of a cutting edge service providing excellent patient-centred care, with many opportunities to develop new ways of working, improve links with community providers and be part of a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for highly motivated nurses, with the possession of both a strong clinical knowledge base and relevant skill set. Previous experience at band 5 level is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication skills are essential and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain new innovative ways of working which facilitate developments in nursing practice.

The post holder will act as a positive role model in the promotion of quality care delivery for frail patients within our wards, committed to improving service delivery and be flexible to the needs of the service.

We welcome newly qualified staff who will get an excellent grounding in caring for complex patients but also nurses with more experience who would like to consolidate their skills.
