We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and energetic staff nurse to join our Cardiology team working within the cardiac catheter lab and the cardiology diagnostic department.

The successful applicant will need to have some recent cardiology experience within the Catheter Lab. They will be expected to work as a scrub nurse in the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, the ‘nurse led’ pre-assessment service and within the specialist echo service, this includes trans oesophageal, Dobutamine and Bubble echo’s.

There will be developmental opportunities available in the future with in-house and external training provided. This is an exciting time to join our team at The Princess Royal University Hospital as it has close links with the Denmark hill site and this enables further development opportunities to the successful candidate.

The Cardiac Catheter Lab provides Diagnostic Angiography, simple Pacing Device insertion and loop recorder insertion. Our 12 bedded CCU and 20 bedded cardiology ward are all situated on one floor which makes for seamless work flow.
