Are you ready for your next challenge?
King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join its well established team in Stoma Care and we are excited to be able to offer one Band 7 CNS post.
Applicants should be experienced in the field of colorectal surgical nursing and capable of providing and leading expert care in this field. Post registration experience in this field is essential and related post registration qualifications are desirable.
Stoma Care CNS
You will take up a role within the established team of CNSs and CSW where you will continue to develop and strengthen the existing service across organisational boundaries. This post does include a community remit so a current driving licence is an advantage. Experience of looking after patients with new and established stomas is essential. You should be enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative, and able to lead change and shape current thinking in the care of this group of patients.
You will have the opportunity to further your learning and undertake specific GI and Stoma Care related education which will enable you to develop your career pathway. In joining the established team you will have access to a wealth of support, experience and guidance that will empower you to practice at a higher level within our busy, dynamic, patient centred service.
Close date: 28th June 2018
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
