Physiotherapy Department Team Lead Physiotherapist- Musculoskeletal - Physiotherapy Outpatients Band 7 Permanent 37.5 hours (including extended hours) King’s College NHS Foundation Trust has a large Therapy department with 250+ therapists from Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy professions. The department has well-established traditions of supporting learning and development, which ensures all staff are given opportunities to develop skills and knowledge to reach their full potential. King’s offers an excellent learning environment with an easy access to the Medical School library, the Internet and other training facilities. With proven skills in the management of musculoskeletal disorders, the post holder must have excellent clinical communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to teach and develop staff and students of all grades working within the service. The post holder will be encouraged and supported to develop their clinical, teaching, research and managerial skills. A cohesive team approach is maintained through an established in-service training program and regular staff meetings. Attendance at post registration courses is supported and there are comprehensive library and computer facilities available. The post holder will also be required to take part in the extended hours musculoskeletal rota. You will join a team which includes 2 Consultant Physiotherapists, six Clinical Leads, and three other Band 7 Physiotherapists, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and friendly environment. You will be required to take part in the weekend Orthopaedics rota. You must have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy andRegistration with the Health Care Professions Council is essential for this post.
