The NICU offers a wide range of services both to the local diverse community and national specialist neonatal services. As well as being a referral unit for premature babies, we accept specialist referrals for abdominal, neurological and eye surgery and for the world-wide celebrated liver service at King’s. We work hand in hand with the internationally renowned Harris Birthright Centre to deliver highly specialised care to vulnerable newborns and holistic care to the family. We also provide a supportive environment with a diverse staff mix focused on professional development and advancement. We are a very busy unit but our strong team work ethos enables all staff to develop and learn new skills.
