Junior Sister/Charge Nurse – General Medicine Band 6 Sister/Charge nurse General Medicine General Medicine– Mary Ray and Lonsdale wards Denmark Hill Site, Kings College Hospital. Mary Ray Ward: Specialised in Diabetes & Diabetic Foot, Oncology, Rheumatology and General Medicine. Lonsdale: Specialised in Respiratory, General Medicine and cystic Fibrosis Would your patients say you make them feel safe and they know your name? Would your patients say you advocate for them and ensure they are involved in decisions about their care? We are creating more Band 6 opportunities in our wards due to the expansion of the Division. We are looking to recruit nurses who are excited by the idea of developing their leadership skills. We are looking for enthusiastic and experience Nurses to join our General Medical Wards. Registered Nurses who are motivated in providing excellent patient centred care to the highest standard. Skill and knowledgeable and can demonstrate a commitment to personal development. A strong role model who has the courage to challenge when care is compromised. Energised by motivating others and skilled in bringing out the best in those around you Committed in developing your leadership skills This is an exciting opportunityand an excellent learning experience for candidates who wish to build upon their managerial role within a team.You will be providing support to the band 7, in ensuring the provision of excellent nursing care and the effective management of staff and resources.
