Apprentice Suite 7 Clerk Year Fixed Term

The Planned Care Group is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice who is looking to develop keys skills which will aid them in laying the building blocks to a successful career in the NHS. Based at King’s College Hospital at Denmark Hill, the post holders will be responsible for providing administration support for Suite 7.

The successful candidates will have a desire to gain reception/ administration skills, will be a good team player, who enjoys communicating with a wide range of people and have a flexible approach to work. The successful applicants must be able to deal with a busy environment and build strong relationships with clinicians and have excellent interpersonal skills as the first point of contact for patients’ and relatives. You will also need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
