Clinical Trial Manager We are looking to appoint an exceptional Clinical Trial Manager to manage the delivery of the PROSPECTS trial. PROSPECTS is a multi-centre prospective randomised trial of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) and Synthetic two view mammography (S2D) compared to standard two view digital x-year mammography (2DDM). The trial will take place in 8 UK centres over the period of 7 years, recruiting 100,000 women attending screening as part of the National Breast Screening Programme. The Trial Manager will work closely with and will be accountable to the Chief Investigator, Dr Mike Michell and the PROSPECTs Clinical Trial Steering Committee. They will be responsible for the coordination of all operational activities related to this complex trial to the highest possible standards and in line with timescales agreed with the funder. 1styear objectives will include timely completion of the trial pilot at King’s College Hospital, coordinating amendments to the trial documentation in line with the pilot results and initiation of the trial sites.The Trial Manager will be expected to provide close oversight of trial recruitment and data collection activities, working in collaboration with multiple collaborators and sites. They will be responsible for managing the trial budget, including expenditure reporting and oversight of trial related contractual agreements. We are looking for an experienced Trial Manager with high level organisational, communication and analytical skills and a proven track record of clinical trial delivery in the NHS, academic or industry environment.
