Operations - Clinical Site Management Team

Band 8C - Deputy Head of Site Operations/Head of Nursing

Band 8B x4 posts – Senior Clinical Site Managers to cover the site 24:7

Band 8A – Site Nurse Practitioners

We have opportunities for senior nurses committed to delivering high quality care to join our dynamic team, that is at the cutting edge of transforming the way that clinical and site services are delivered for our patients on the Denmark Hill hospital site.

We are opening a new Site Operations Centre that will be the ‘hub’ of the hospital and will promote safety and effective patient flow, supported by the latest technology. As a senior member of our team you will be key in the development and the delivery of our site strategy.

The successful candidate for the Deputy/Head of Nursing post will deputise for the Head of Site Operations. The 8B post holders will manage the site and operational centre on a 24:7 basis and provide clinical leadership to the team, you will also have responsibility for a portfolio of professional practice.

As a member of the team you will spend your time;

  • Being part of the clinical response team providing clinical support to acutely unwell patients.
  • Managing and coordinating the hospital site on a day to day basis, including serious and major incidents.
  • Coordinating patient flow through the emergency and elective pathways across the Trust.
  • Providing senior support and leadership to patients, visitors and staff.

You will have excellent leadership skills and recent experience of caring for patients in an acute setting, as well as evidence of continuing professional development. Successful candidates for the 8A posts will be expected to undertake the non medical prescribing and acute assessment courses within the first year of coming into post.
