Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site LOCUM CONSULTANT HAEMATOLOGIST

WITH SPECIAL INTEREST IN HAEMATO-ONCOLOGY 

6 Months (initially) with possibility of extension

Full-Time Post – 10 Programmed Activities 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time locum Consultant Haematologist with a specialist interest in haemato-oncology. The post holder will work within a cross-site multi-disciplinary team providing and developing care for haemato-oncology patients. The post is based at the PRUH site.   There will be 8.5 PA of DCC and 1.5 PA for SPA and other activities. The on-call commitment is 1:5 with cross cover. Inpatients are managed through 1:4 attending system currently in a dedicated Haematology/Oncology ward.

The haematology consultant team is friendly and supportive and are supported by 4 junior doctors and 3 clinical nurse specialists. 

Applicants are required to be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of expected date of CCT. Applicants who are unable to work full-time for personal reasons are welcome to apply.
