The Princess Royal University Hospital Bromley is part of Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting senior leadership opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the trust as General Manager for Acute and Emergency Medicine, incorporating the Emergency Department, the Acute Medical Unit and the Ambulatory Care Unit. The role is a key leadership position with operational responsibility for one of the most high profile care groups within the Trust. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with prior experience at a senior manager level in an emergency department. The Acute and Emergency Medicine Care Group takes a front and centre position when it comes to the delivery of the Trusts key objectives around the delivery of the 4 hour standard. The Care Group is led by a highly skilled group of senior clinician, with a Clinical Director, two Heads of Nursing and two Clinical Leads across the service. You will lead the Care Group Triumvirate – Clinical Director's  and Head's of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high quality care, financial, performance and strategic objective. In addition, you will lead on an extensive transformation program to redesign all aspect of the Emergency pathway as well leading on a number of other key areas on behalf of the Division    This is an ideal opportunity for the appropriate individual to develop their senior leadership career in the NHS, in a diverse and challenging environment.   This post will give you the tools needed to become a future director in the NHS.
