An exciting opportunity has arisen for Staff Nurses to join our well established team within the Respiratory department at the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough.

We are looking for highly motivated nurses, with the possession of both a strong clinical knowledge base and relevant skill set. The post holder will work on Farnborough Ward, one of three respiratory wards at the PRUH, and there will be opportunities to rotate to the other two wards, one of which is a specialist 12 bedded level 1 facility that specialises in Non-Invasive ventilation. Previous experience at band 5 level is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication skills are essential and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain new innovative ways of working which facilitate developments in nursing practice.

We will support the right candidates in furthering their career, offering opportunities to undertake accredited respiratory and high dependency courses, and ensure these development pathways are supported and coordinated by our Practice Development team.

The post holder will act as a positive role model in the promotion of quality care delivery for acutely unwell medical patients within our wards, committed to improving service delivery and be flexible to the needs of the service.

We welcome newly qualified staff who will get an excellent grounding in caring for complex patients but also nurses with more experience who would like to consolidate their skills.t.
